How do you consign items at Consignment Gallery?

What items are accepted?

Please click here for a sampling of items we will take. However, all items should be of good quality, cleaned and polished, not chipped or broken – in other words “room ready”. We reserve the right to decline anything we feel is not saleable. Please note, we do not accept clothing or appliances on consignment

Do I need an appointment to consign items?

It is recommended. Just call ahead to let us know which day you plan on coming. We will set appointments to look at furniture on location. You are also welcome to

pictures of your items or bring pictures to the store.

Who sets the price?

We will establish prices with your approval. We welcome any knowledge you have regarding the age and original cost of items so we can be as fair as possible to you and the customer.

What happens when your items sell at Consignment Gallery?

You receive 60% of the selling price of each item you sell for over $25 and 50% for items that sell for under $25. You leave your item(s) with Consignment Gallery for a maximum of 90 days with a 10% markdown at 30 and 60 days. Note: Jewelry is not reduced. After 90 days you may remove any unsold item(s) – no charge.

When and how do Consignors get paid?

Once a month a check and receipt showing items sold are mailed to each individual consignor.

Do you offer pickup and delivery?

We offer pick up and delivery of furniture in our enclosed trailer. The fee varies depending on quantity and distance.

What forms of payment does Consignment Gallery accept?

Consignment Gallery accepts cash and your good check for your purchases.

Fine china, pottery, serving pieces

Costume and fine jewelry

Jewelry cases, music boxes

Decorative pillows and throws

DVD and VCR movies and music CDs

Silver, stainless, pewter

Crystal and other glassware

Silk flower arrangements

Collectibles

Lamps

Mirrors, pictures, and wall hangings
