Why Use Consignment Gallery?
Consignment Gallery always prices merchandise reasonably, offering value to both consignors and customers. The agreement is 120 days for accessories and 180 days for furniture. The consignor receives 50% of the consignment price. At the end of the consignment term, the items expire and must be picked up within 7 days of the expiration date; otherwise, they become the property of Consignment Gallery, after which they are sold or donated.
When picking up items, please collect them and bring them to the front counter to be removed from your account. You should also bring packing materials or a tote to transport your items.
Consignment Gallery has established a reputation for integrity and customer service. We make selling your furniture and home accessories easy, convenient, fast, and hassle-free. We handle all advertising, showcasing, and selling, and assist you in setting an appropriate asking price to maximize the value of your items. We work hard, so you don't have to!
Consignment Hours:
Home décor consignments may be dropped off during store hours, or you may make an appointment by clicking HERE or by calling. We would be happy to help you. Each appointment is limited to 24 items.
All furniture consignments require pre-approval. Please email photos to quality@consignmentgalleryiowa.com or text them to 515-297-4642. Be sure to include helpful details such as the manufacturer, age, original purchase price, and dimensions.
Once your furniture has been approved, we will schedule a drop-off time. This helps ensure we have a strong market for your items.
Acceptance of Items: Consignment Gallery staff must preview all potential consigned merchandise before acceptance. All consigned furniture and décor must be in exceptionally good condition, in working order, and ready for display. We do not accept broken, stained, torn, or dated items. Ask yourself, "Would I buy it in its current condition?" If not, take a minute to clean, dust, vacuum, or polish your item; otherwise, a minimum $10 cleaning fee will be assessed. Consignment Gallery reserves the right to refuse any item that does not meet our specifications. Consignment Gallery reserves the right to sell and/or market contracted items through internet sites and various media outlets, as well as our showroom.

- Jewelry cases, music boxes
- Silver
- Silk flower arrangements
- Lamps, table, and floor
- Mirrors, pictures, and wall hangings
- Clocks (in working condition)
